Same to you Dave! Thanks for starting the Daily!
A beautiful day and a beautiful subject! Nice to show a little sky!
I am attracted to the second one. Something about red that grabs my eye! With the white flowers blooming...WOW!
Tourist season has started so will be tough to get a decent photo of the Palace. We have 300,000 + come through every year.
Here is one I took Thursday. A different view. Showing Lady Liberty, Eiffel tower and the Great Wall of China.
Really nice photo of part of this year's display. Every year my admiration for the artists who bring the corn murals to life increases.
I can understand how the crowds of visitors are good for the local economy but frustrating for the photographer.
Thanks for your comments on my photos. In the first I wish I had zoomed out to show more of the sky.
I'm quite pleased with the second one; I think the colors look good together and my tweaks to the values (hoping to avoid both blown out whites and featureless blacks) seemed to have worked out OK.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Hello.
Packing to go upto the trailer today to open it up for the summer.
It has been too cold and rainy so far this year to be up there.
Dave, your processing produced an eye catching floral image. The creams and reds is a beautiful combination.
Rich, This is an awesome angle with lots of drama. I like seeing a closeup of the murals but the perspective of the sign makes the composition very powerful.
