A local sunrise taken 2 mornings ago...

Yeah, it's rather dark, but that pretty accurately shows what I saw. And I like how the rusty orange and the purplish gray interact.

I like it Dave! Has good impact!

Here are a couple of fawn enjoying the grass as I drove into our cemetery.

Thank you Rich.

I like your photo of the fawns. Isn't it wonderful to see wildlife around your town? I remember a trip to Canada many years ago. We drove to Banff, and found ourselves in a suburban but heavily wooded area, and it seemed that around every curve we saw numerous caribou.

Banff has a huge wilderness park right in the middle of town, and it was a marvel. Right next to the parking area we saw 5 or six Bighorn Sheep perched on large boulders no more than 20 feet away. We thought at first that they were remarkably realistic sculptures, but they were the real, living animals. Later in our long walk into the park we saw several bald eagles. (Fortunately we didn't encounter any Grizzlies.)

Dave, I also like the orange outlines. Smile

Rich, there's a lot of green there. Smile

Cities close to nature

Following on Dave's opening theme.

Thanks MFI.

Wonderful photo - simple and elegant.

It speaks volumes in a soft voice, and proves that less is more.

Thanks Dave. It was the super moon but because it was so bright, it needed some local foreground.
