Wednesday June 19th - Man From Ironbark - 06-19-2024 Yes I've beaten you to hump day again. Less than one kilometre walk would get me to the closest edge of this wetland yet I have to drive about four or more to get to where I don't need to get permission to cross private property. However, it is very flat country and I'd need gumboots and a high chair to get really good photos. Yes, these are Australia's unique black swans in their natural habitat in a Ramsar listed site, just a kilometre from my backdoor. Yes and this was my first foray with a Nikon P950. What a nice scene - an ideal place to discard day-to-day troubles and frustrations and let nature's beauty calm one's soul. Some tiny blossoms in our inner front yard, taken yesterday and just now processed.     Those who are enduring extreme heat in the US - stay safe.
