RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - Michael - 04-19-2022 What gorgeous color!! RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - Rich - 04-19-2022 (04-19-2022, 09:22 AM)Michael Wrote: What gorgeous color!! I agree! RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - Quint - 04-19-2022 Great colors on those flowers. Spring is in the air. RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - Dave - 04-19-2022 Hi folks. Thanks for starting the Daily, damar. The land next to RR tracks is seldom as well cared-for and beautiful. Nice eye and capture. This flower at a house halfway through my usual walk's route has some nice roses, plus this other plant that produces a photo-worthy blossom about every 2 years... RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - Luv2shoot - 04-19-2022 Good morning Patty, Rich, Dave and Michael. I got to get working on my photos for our club meeting this Thursday, so I will be busy this week doing that and also meeting with friends for lunch this afternoon and Wednesday. I procrastinate too much! Patty, lovely azaleas, are they blooming late this year? Those grounds look so nice. Dave, Nice lighting on your hibiscus. Hibiscus reminds of the word bicuspid. I know they don't sound anything alike but it just hits me that way. Michael, Steve, good to see you both today. Rich, we got snow yesterday and it is still really cold here. Let me know when it starts to warm up out your way so I can look forward to it coming our way. I am still playing with Peter's Dynamic Painting Software, the trial version. It is fun to play around with though. You know how much I love adding that artistic touch to my images like this one. I like how it changed the texture on the shell and blurred the background. RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - damar - 04-19-2022 Thanks every one! Good to see you all! Dave that is a beautiful color hibiscus! I love how it is reflecting light and the foliage is not! Makes for a nice background. Hi Lorell, you're busy too, huh? (same here) Looking forward to slowing down here in a week or so. I like your shell photo work. Nice variety of texture. I like the watery blue background too! My photo was nothing great, but it just looked bright on an overcast day. The azaleas seem to be hanging on. Mine have started to drop their flowers. The trees are almost full leaf in the back yard (mostly oaks) they don't all show full leaves at the same time. RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - Adamphotoman - 04-19-2022 Patty, The colour is welcoming esp as we still have a cold spring. At least it is not snowing here. We are latitude 52.4 ° Dave, Patty nailed it. The light contrast sets your yellow Hibiscus off nicely. Lorell, I will have to watch your play with software as I am on an old Mac. vicariously that is Hi Michael / Rich / Steve.... RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - Dreamin - 04-19-2022 Hi, all. Some very bright florals...very nice.... Lorell, cool manip.... Went from warm spring to windy blustery and cold....And Monday should be over 80° sheesh. Maybe I will get out this weekend with my camera....been a bit under the weather.... Been busy....my daughter got this metal frame greenhouse, and some raised beds. She and I spent the weekend trying to take apart the raised beds .....the guy had stapled hardware wire to the bottom, and some of the screws stripped trying to get them out....we got the 3 raised beds apart, next weekend, we start on the greenhouse....Whew....I'm too old for this.... RE: Tuesday 19 April 2022 - Luv2shoot - 04-19-2022 Natalie, yes, retirement = busy. It is a "good" busy because we usually are choosing the things we want to do more than the things we HAVE TO DO, Those can wait for tomorrow. That is a nice big greenhouse, she'll have plenty of space to start her plants. Well, I made some pineapple crisp/crumble and will pick up some good vanilla ice cream to take over for the gathering with the girlfriends. I think I will warm up the crisp in the microwave before serving. I figured it was something different. Have a good evening all. Lorell |
