Good Sunday Morning To You All.
I pulled this photo from our club's photo trip to the churches in Downtown Detroit.
This was the first photo I took inside of the church that day.
Have a wonderful day.
LORELL

Good Morning Lorell, and all who follow.

Beautiful window! Must be backlit? Doesn't look like an outside  window.

Here is an IR from Custer State Park in South Dakota.

Lorell,
Nice window. To me it could be an outside window.
Rich, Bison. Placement is perfect.
There is a big herd nearby. I will attempt a shot sometime.

Our 1st house. And Mom and our youngest.  Excuse the high speed grain.

Grant, your 1st house looks similar to one of mine from years ago. Second floor dormer and a front porch.

What a great shot of Mom and Grandson! Very loving portrait!

Grant that photo warms the heart. You must miss your mom. I am getting sentimental and I have never met her but feel I know her through you. Grandma and grandson smiles for miles.  Your house looks like a perfect and comfy starter house or someplace to live and grow old together in. It looks perfect to me.

Rich, it is an outside window but possibly the texture that I added, made it look otherwise. I was trying to add texture and a mood. Grant is correct, the bison belongs there amongst the beautiful picturesque surroundings.

Where is everyone today?

Beautiful, Lorell. Expert control of the light, intriguing subtle detail beyond the window, just the right amount of detail in the dark areas (especially on the right where the detail serves as an eye-stopper and even redirects the eye back), and you certainly achieved a mood.

Beautiful work, Rich. Your skill with IR produced a dream-like but realistic image, your value control is excellent (keeping details in both the darks and the lights), the composition  is very good, and you present a serene mood.

Grant, what a nice looking home! And the fine photos of your family are always a treat - keep them coming.
