Peace and contentment to us all on this Friday.

Yesterday I reworked a couple of photos of a hovering hummingbird approaching a feeder in our inner yard, taken back in 2019.

This appears to be a male, either an Allen's or a Rufous, but since the Rufous is much more common her, I'm going with that. From the position of the wings and tail, I think he was slowing down his approach to the feeder.

Tomorrow I'll post another shot of the same little bird displaying the vibrant iridescence common to many hummingbird.

Dave, thanks for the appropriate greeting, and the amazing photo!

I got the notification so Don must have found the problem. If others are not getting it try re-verifying your email by going to your settings.

Here is a triple exposure of my son back in the early 80's playing cards with himself. Or maybe identical triplets? A little bleed through but not bad.

Rich, your triple exposure image is far better than ?not bad." Very nice work.

Some years ago I dabbled with multiple images in Photoshop. I think it involved putting each image on a separate layer and then doing something with blend modes and maybe layer masks. It may sound complicated, but actually was pretty easy.

I'm glad Don was able to find and fix the notification SNAFU.

Thanks for your comments on my hovering hummer. As I said, tomorrow's Rufous Hummingbird will show a bit of vivid red iridescence
