Monday, February 24, 2025 - Dave - 02-24-2025 of a photo taken in March 2020. The nerve of this guy, flashing me like that. Some major accomplishments for me yesterday: During a major house cleaning we discovered some things I've been hoping to find for decades: some old sketchbook, three Walter Foster art instruction books, and a box of hard pastels. Some of these things go back to the mid 1960s. I posted a few sketches from way back then in the Other Art thread. And overnight I managed to salvage almost all of my photos dating back to 2017 that I thought were gone for good due to my recently deceased computer. RE: Monday, February 24, 2025 - Rich - 02-25-2025 Good one Dave! He is a flasher for sure! Funny! Congrats on getting most of your photos back! RE: Monday, February 24, 2025 - Dave - 02-26-2025 Thank you Rich. RE: Monday, February 24, 2025 - Luv2shoot - 02-26-2025 Wow, what a great glamor shot. RE: Monday, February 24, 2025 - Dave - 02-26-2025 Glamour shot is not the first description that comes to my mind. RE: Monday, February 24, 2025 - Man From Ironbark - 02-26-2025 Maybe the squirrel was of a different mind? ![]() It is a great shot of an impactuful subject on a man made fence being attacked by nature. ![]() This juvenile Laughing Kookaburra was attempting to learn how to cackle. ![]()
RE: Monday, February 24, 2025 - Rich - 02-26-2025 Nice capture in the tree! Looked at s couple of Youtube videos. They do have a cackle (laugh) and very annoying. Do they keep you up at night or do they quiet down at sundown? RE: Monday, February 24, 2025 - Man From Ironbark - 02-26-2025 They start in the pre-dawn and yes can also do it in the evening. Sometimes throughout the day as they declare their territorial rights. |
