I have one with some color also: a miniature cactus (barely more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) across, taken a few days ago during the 10 minutes of the day when it gets direct sunlight...

With Cacti that small, Close-up photos mean I'd have to actually get close to a cactus. They usually bite me when I get close.
Yours is really close. Nice sharpness and strong red against the softer green, the spikes add to the image.
