Thursday, Nov 28, 2024 - Don - 11-28-2024 Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. We have rain here today as a cold front moves through. Next few days we will have lows in the lower 30's F. I did get a short ride on the trike a couple of days ago, but at least for the next week or so it will remain parked. As we approached Amsterdam on our river cruise, we stopped so that we could visit some windmills. DW and I elected to ride a historic barge to the oldest windmill, and I captured this photo as we cruised along the canal. RE: Thursday, Nov 28, 2024 - Dave - 11-28-2024 Beautiful photo, Don. Tremendous clarity, something I associate with the quality of light in the low countries. Excuse me for asking, but is the photo tilted (no pun intended) a bit? The reflections of the posts should be vertical, right? No matter; that's an easy fix when you have this beauty printed and framed. Our Thanksgiving weather in my part of SoCal will be partly cloudy and might reach 70 (21 C). No complaints from me about that. This was taken with either my phone or my little P&S Lumix. I didn't take my Nikons on this trip.
