RE: Friday 24 June 2022 - Man From Ironbark - 06-24-2022 Yes a tip with tomatoes is that you can usually plant them deeper than they were before transplanting. Many plants will rot off if planted deeper but tomatoes just make more roots. RE: Friday 24 June 2022 - Dreamin - 06-24-2022 Thanks for the compliments. My flower is a Clematis. Don, your Gaillardia, also known as blanket flower, is beautiful....so bright and cheerful....love the muted background. Patty, zucchini is very full of water, so it is very limp and watery when frozen and thawed. I tried to grate it and freeze to use in zucchini bread, but it did not work well for me, even after I put it in cheesecloth and squeezed out the water. My san marzano did not produce well last year....yours are gorgeous! I agree, that photo is ad quality!! What a great shot of a pretty bird! We get the Carolina Wren nesting every year in our garage....comes in the dog door! Rich, I love the bike. I assume some of those flowers will climb onto the bike as vines....at least that's what I would have planted near the bike. RE: Friday 24 June 2022 - Man From Ironbark - 06-24-2022 Beautiful flowers of several types. Here is some winter colour from the pearl of the Pacific.
RE: Friday 24 June 2022 - Dave - 06-25-2022 Quirky and fun bike photo, Rich. Quint, that's a fine photo of the hairy unripe tomato. damar is right - looks to be wearing a jester's hat. damar, very nice portrait of the Eastern Phoebe. Interesting coloring - it makes me wonder if she chose the nest location with camouflage in mind. Excellent photo, MFI. The sharp detail on the water drops is especially appealing. Interesting fact Steve! Beautiful flowers Peter! |
