The part at the bottom looks like LED lights that are in a long strip.

Lorell, Back in the day that Slide film was king, Led lights were in their infancy and not common.
In fact when I worked in photography at Engineering Shops in the University, Engineering students were hard at work building prototype LED lighting. This image was shot early 1980's.
