RE: Pete's Images - dewarp - 02-17-2025 Thanks for the comments, Rich and Lorell. Those trees are actually small when compared to the other trees in that forest. It is a large forested region near Narooma, NSW. We spent many hours getting lost on its dirt roads, which were generally in pretty good shape. regards - Pete RE: Pete's Images - dewarp - 03-13-2025 Here are my images from the March 2025 meeting of our camera club. The set-subject was Street Photography. Now that we are back in South Africa, I have been able to enter prints once again. ![]() Fontana del Pantheon ![]() Garden Cafe ![]() Flower Market ![]() Where's That Uber ![]() The Rear Window ![]() Wallaby Portrait ![]() Narooma Wharf Dusk ![]() The Blue Stones C&C Welcomed as always. regards - Pete RE: Pete's Images - dewarp - 04-12-2025 Here are some of my images submitted for the April camera club meetings. RE: Pete's Images - dewarp - 04-16-2025 Thanks for the comments, Don & Rich. regards - Pete RE: Pete's Images - Man From Ironbark - 04-22-2025 Like wow. I get the point being very sharp. Is that a pretty face wallaby? RE: Pete's Images - dewarp - 04-23-2025 Thanks Peter I had no idea what a Pretty Face Wallaby is, so I looked it up. This was certainly not one of those. I came across him suddenly whilst walking down a bush path. It was a very tame wallaby, standing about 3m away; and then continuing to drink water from a puddle. However, from the look and size of his toenails, I'm rather glad that he was friendly! regards - Pete RE: Pete's Images - Man From Ironbark - 04-28-2025 Mostly they disappear if you get too close but if you are quiet in your movements and not intrusive, the desire to get a drink may come first. The only ones to fear are the big buck kangaroos. |
